The Contemporary Cave Art
As a child, I always felt like I didn't quite fit in with my family. While they were content with a traditional suburban lifestyle, I longed for something more. I finally found solace in art, spending countless hours drawing, painting, and creating. I was drawn to the raw, gritty style of grunge music and fashion, which inspired me to develop my own edgy aesthetic.
Despite my passion for art, my family didn't seem to understand or support my creative endeavors. They saw my interests as a hobby rather than a viable career path. Entering college, I decided to go for something more stable, Computer Engineering, though that did not last forever. Feeling misunderstood and unsupported, I switched my major over to Graphic Design and realized how much I needed this in my life. I spent countless hours being inspired by Artists like Ai Wei Wei, who pushed against all social norms and grew passionate over the grunge and rough aesthetic.
