LA is for All

We are here

We all build the world we live in today, but all of us as humans put in equal work and effort into building a better future, painting the future, leaving behind history in interconnected lives with each other. The equal effort and quality of work is represented from the solid continuous red stripes of the United States flag. These stripes are painted by individuals of different ethnic backgrounds, which each individual have a sense of belonging to this nation. Using hands in the photographic medium makes the poster more personal and human. The paint brush represents high quality work and effort each individual has invested from themselves, leaving no imperfections behind from a singular stroke of their brush.

The flag.

Anyone and everyone in the target audience live in Los Angeles, but the message is not only limited to these individuals, as they are also connected to the rest of the nation. The goal of the poster was to convey the message that Los Angeles is a diverse and inclusive city that welcomes people of all backgrounds and cultures. Understanding "LA is for All" means understanding how to promote a positive and inclusive image of Los Angeles and celebrate its cultural diversity.
